This new DIRAK compression latch meets the common need for a flush latch with compression/anti-vibration characteristics often found in rail transport, HVAC and furniture applications. The 7-086 and 7-087 provide discrete closure with visual indicator.
Both variants offer 6mm of gasket compression in a corrosion-resistant stainless steel mechanism which accommodates 1.8 to 22mm thickness doors dependent on choice of two housing lengths. This permits use of doors in steel, wood, fiberglass, synthetics and compound sandwich materials to match the style of panelling or other decorative features.
The 7-086 allows for cam depth adjustment by use of selected cranked cams, whereas notably the 7-087 provides for additional depth adjustment of the tab by virtue of a toolless knurled knob on a threaded shaft enabling cam adjustment to accommodate especially deep frames.
Inserts may be selected from all common options including square, triangular, double bar, conical square, in various sizes to suit corporate convention.

Small PINET aluminium barrel bolts are now available from our Panel Fittings team – otherwise known as door or sash bolts they are made to slide into a cylindrical socket, providing a simple low-cost security solution with a positively fixed position, but where ready manual access is required.
Also known as sliding bolts or shoot bolts, this new introduction features a double latch to retain the bolt in either extended or withdrawn position. Barrel bolts are often used internally to retain one of a pair of double doors which is infrequently used, or otherwise they may be installed externally where it is important to maintain door closure but where access security is not an issue.
These new PINET 30mm aluminium hinges are for use as pairs or together with a matching friction, detent or spring hinge to modify door opening characteristics. Construction is in clear or black anodized aluminium with robust plastic hinge pin to resist corrosion.
The matching soft-close hinge offers controlled closure in three configurations with two different torque damping settings, making them suitable for many types of enclosure, cabinet and cupboard from factory floor to domestic furniture.

These new PINET 30mm barrel bolts are a neat way of providing light duty spring latching to doors and drawers. They are quickly fitted to latch into a locating hole in the equipment where they can provide a positioning facility for covers or access panels. When not in use the bolt can be drawn back against the extension spring and held in the unlocked position.
Typical uses are foreseen as for furniture, equipment, housings and doors in light industrial applications. LH and RH units are available in clear anodized aluminium.
