The new DIRAK 7-077SL height adjustable cam provides simple tool-less adjustment for quarter-turn compression latches.

It is offered in 3 height variants which allow for a clamping range of over 30mm and ensure that optimal gasket sealing may be achieved on specialist industrial enclosures or cabinets where maintenance of correct IP rating is considered essential and resistance to vibration is required.

The 7-077SL is spring loaded with a manually adjustable lock nut – it may be used with all DIRAK compression quarter-turn latch locks which have a long axis bolt.

It can be surprising sometimes just how many variants of a simple design are available – take the humble cover or door stay for example – we have in stock adjustable ones, telescopic ones, vibration proof types and wind stops – oh and steel or stainless steel. The new DIRAK 1-105 roller cam increases operator comfort and feel while protecting paintwork – protecting interior equipment from contamination, e.g. servers, caused by paint chipping or corrosion. The roller action offers lower friction and a soft plastic surface in place of the hard metal ramp of most cams which can cause paint damage and be difficult to close where high gasket forces are experienced.

The roller cam is depth adjustable over a 5mm range to enable a close fit to be achieved with all their inserts, swinghandles and multi-point latches which use an 8mm square drive screw.

Round rod locking systems are a mainstay of the specialist cabinet industry so it is important that we have a good selection of these in stock for immediate delivery. Standard sizes are available in 100 mm increments as are stainless steel variants where required. Rod guides and compatible handles with/without locks form part of our comprehensive hardware package for the specialist panel builder. This includes of course the new multi-point compression rod lock system from Dirak. 

The new DIRAK 7-077.01SL  is an adjustable cam to enable correct fit to be achieved on new enclosures or cabinets and to compensate for gasket set over time and is especially necessary where doors and covers are subject to ongoing vibration, so ensuring security of the installation.

This novel cam arrangement may be re-adjusted manually without tools and suits standard DIRAK quarter-turn latches or compression latches with 10mm threaded latch rods – it also accepts standard cams of varying depth.

The adjuster, in steel or stainless steel, is vibration proof and provides 0.25mm depth change per click.

The 6-141 adjustable clamping lever offers quick, easy and tool-less fixing of components with push-button activated release or adjustment – it is available at our Online store.

It is suitable for short-term location of work pieces or frameworks which require frequent manual re-setting, e.g. during production processes – or for temporary structures such as instrument mounts where it provides a simple secure clamping action with quick release.

This DIRAK clamping lever is available in male (threaded stud) or female (internally threaded) formats, from M5 to M10.

The SNAPLINE range of locks, hinges, and panel fixings is a sophisticated design series enabling very quick installation and operation of cabinet and enclosure related equipment – this particularly includes the captive panel fastener for doors, covers, 19″ rack drawers etc. allowing instant push-in to lock and push-button release for removal of panels onto/from the frame/housing.
