Part of our new 6-500 range, the 6-504 shares the novel roller cam action with the addition of an integral insert lock for double bar or similar tool operation. The 6-504 clamps easily over a 20mm range providing IP65 protection with a suitable gasket. This unusual roller cam ensures especially easy operation on large industrial control cabinets and has an anti-vibration characteristic which is useful in many applications, so preventing nuisance opening of equipment doors.
The 6-504 is especially designed to operate with a flat rod system and may be expanded to a multi-point arrangement with the addition of 6-510 latching elements for larger doors with no protruding handle or knob, so presenting a particularly clean door surface for safety in narrow access areas.

Traditional rear insert cage nuts for 19″ racks or other punched rail mounting systems have been a mainstay of panel mounting for many years – now we have also introduced the Dirak front insert cage nuts for even simpler and quicker assembly – M5, M6 and M8 sizes are available.
Rear mounting is fine where access is easy but this is often not the case and front insertion can save a lot of time where many nuts are required per rack – we offer two styles of front insert and one type of rear insert cage nuts.

The new Dirak 6-500 compression latch is a novel cylinder lock design to IP65 which makes light work of gasket clamping over the extended range of 20mm. This makes it ideal for large doors with soft gaskets. It is also vibration resistant, so, in addition to public access areas, it is suited to transport or other vibration prone environments such as gensets.
The 6-500 is installed with through door fixings with no protruding handle or knob, and may be fitted with an external protective lock cover. It is particularly suited to rod locking systems where it may also be used in a horizontal orientation.

Our latest offering is a very helpful spring loaded lock cam from sales partners DIRAK. The 7-076 tab provides a secure spring loaded slam function so that doors and covers may be simply shut closed and locked in one simple operation. The slam cam is especially useful for self-closing doors and covers, ensuring that security is maintained when the operator leaves.
This slam cam fits existing quarter-turn locks or similar and can be used in conjunction with cylinder locks, as well as inserts. This means it is only possible to open the door with a key or insert tool. The lock is then reset so that when the door is slammed shut the mechanism is re-activated in a locked condition.

Our 2-103 Swinghandle offers IP65 or IP67 ingress protection with the added benefits of vibration and vandal resistance. These features make the 2-103 swinghandle especially suitable for road/rail and street furniture applications, as well as for outdoor utility projects.
Robust zinc die construction designed with minimal gaps provides deterrence against vandalism. The design also integrates a further magnetic lock cover for weather protection and an integrated spring release mechanism for the handle which is automatically released from the handle body, making it especially easy to operate even when wearing gloves.
